Step Up for the Walk — Vermont Bud Barn Backs Community Care

Posted on September 2nd, 2025 to Events

We’re thrilled to announce that Vermont Bud Barn is a proud sponsor of this year’s Walk for Animals with the Windham County Humane Society! This beloved event will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Brattleboro Common, and we couldn’t be more excited to support such an important cause right here in our community.

The Walk is a joyful celebration of animals and the people who love them. Each year, the Humane Society cares for hundreds of pets in need by providing food, shelter, medical care, and, most importantly, second chances. By walking, fundraising, or simply cheering on participants, our community helps ensure every pet has the chance to find a safe and loving home.

Why We’re Supporting the Walk for Animals

At Vermont Bud Barn, giving back to Brattleboro has always been a core part of who we are. Since opening our doors in 2017, we’ve worked hard to create a welcoming dispensary that reflects the spirit of our town, and supporting local organizations like the Windham County Humane Society is one way we do that. We know firsthand how much pets enrich our lives, and this event is a perfect opportunity to come together to celebrate them while helping others.

We’ll be cheering everyone on during the Walk and can’t wait to see all the happy pups, wagging tails, and smiling faces. Whether you’re joining in for the stroll, raising funds, or stopping by to enjoy the festivities, your support makes a difference.

We’re proud to stand alongside the Humane Society in their mission to care for animals in need, and we hope to see you there on September 13!
